A fresh quick salad recipe that is tasty and perfect for any time of the day. This Middle Eastern salad is vegetarian friendly and packs a punch in flavour.

If you want to make the authentic tabbouleh, you should use bulgur wheat which can usually be found in the grains isle of the supermarket, or sometimes the healthy foods section.

If you don't have bulgur wheat available to you, couscous is a great alternative for this recipe. This healthy salad recipe is super simple to make and mostly consists of finely chopping up your vegetables and adding the to the salad. Season the salad with olive oil and lemon juice, as well as salt and pepper (optional) to taste. Remember to mix gently so as to not crush the bulgur wheat.
