Sweet & Sticky Chicken Drumsticks

Delicious oven baked drumsticks covered in a sweet and sticky glaze. I love making this recipe because the oven does all the work, not me!

Oven baked chicken drumsticks are great because they require minimal effort and are much healthier than frying the chicken. The sweetness of the glaze is an added bonus for me. Honey can also be used instead for a slightly healthier meal.

When it comes to cooking chicken drumsticks, I'm always worried about cutting into pink meat in the inside. A hack I like to use to minimize this risk is to cut small slits into the chicken to help it cook more quickly and thoroughly.

I also like to coat my chicken with the glaze at least twice (with about 5 minute intervals between each coating) to make sure all of the flavour has infused into the chicken, but if you want a quick recipe, one coat of glaze is still great!
